Is an attempt at determining whether there exist plants that will thrive (or at least survive) in symbiosis with the light of a television monitor. In this case, we preferred the broadcasts of the two international news channels BBC and CNN. After consulting several experts in the fields of botany and electrical engineering, we found a promising combination of analogue television, which gives off more light than a digital monitor, with a species of Davallia, a fern that grows on trees or in rocky crevasses in the tropical regions of southeast Asia. Not only is this plant so far the only one to survive and grow, but its leaves even have a tendency to turn towards and attach themselves to the TV screen.
