„St. Miss“ – 1994 –230 x 130 x 40 cm, (process device), glass, motor, fluorescent lamp, water, cellulose, projection.
The documentation of the procedural object of St. Miss, is related to the painting, which comes to life and becomes three-dimensional. This animation is evidence of the artist’s interest in the alchemical tradition, in the resurrected idea of the homunculus that meets contemporary technology. The image of a woman immersed in cellulose fluid is illuminated by a sliding arm. As the settling cellulose is stirred, the image is captured by a camera with the lens focused on the surface of the water.
