The picture is one of a series of works that were created for the interior spaces of the buildings of famous sci-fi movies. By this means I am attempting to achieve a new visualization of the image. In the future, it seems, architecture will no longer require pictures. It will become a machine similar to a car. Today there are already certain symptoms of this prospect. The architect regards himself as an artist and the picture in architecture is perceived as something superfluous.
Dharmanautica is a picture designed for one of the interiors of a building in the film “Blade Runner”. The dark space of the pyramidal building is illuminated with this picture, the surface of which is reminiscent of a protuberance on the sun. Below the glowing surface is a dark layer, painted from behind the picture, resembling sunspots.
