Sky in Underground

Sky in Underground, 1989, 400 x 400 x 200 cm, glass, clay.

The minimalist sculpture “Sky in Underground” was designed to create the illusion of the presence of the sky underground through a glass prism. This phenomenon may have arisen because the sky was mirrored at the bottom of the prism, so in the underground created by the mounding of soil around the object.
