The story of Gagarin’s Thing
The Gagarin affair is documented by many documentary photographs and even a dry restoration report. Is there anyone who does not believe in the existence of the “Gagarin affair”? The artistically illustrated book, typographically by Marek Pistora, is being published on April 12th, on the 45th anniversary of man’s entry into space. This date is one of the most important in the history of mankind. It was the culmination of the race between two superpowers to conquer space. And it is absurd how little is known about such an important event today and how much secrecy surrounds it.

When Gagarin made an emergency landing in the desert somewhere in Kazakhstan after returning from space, a mysterious object was found in the wreckage of his ship’s cabin that had not been there before launch. It was a kind of rod with a luminous bundle of bright golden fibers and (as scientists discovered after more detailed research) a source of incredibly powerful energy.
Moscow could not deal with the mysterious “Gagarin thing” for years, so Khrushchev finally handed it over to President Kennedy as a friendly gesture to resolve the Caribbean crisis in the USA, where it was subjected to long-term research at NASA. It was only in our millennium that the “Gagarin thing” came into the hands of several students from the former Eastern European bloc and was subjected to examination and reconstruction as an art object.
