BLADE RUNNER

(film still) – detail, 1999, 170x140cm, fake fur, acrylic sealer, silicon
I have often noticed the furnished film interiors of sets. It’s interesting to note that the quality of the art works, chosen for their purposes, is pathetic. I don’t know why this is the case, but the fatality of this reality is completely consistent, and this regards the interiors of all age categories and levels of society. The picture for the film Blade Runner is one attempt to furnish an art interior designed as a virtual sci-fi space in which the presence of art works doesn’t factor at all.
