The Happyend Shoes were made specially for the context of Hollywood (Post Gallery). I tried to test out whether it is possible to bring the American film cliche idea of the happy-end story into the world of sculpture (object). Sculpture is connected with another cliche – the phenomenon of eternity. I tried to test out whether it was possible – using a static object – to fixate “on the age” of the euphoria of the happy-end (meant with hyperbole). The shoes should create a sentimental and sweet effect – it’s about the final passionate scene of love. Inside the merging lovers’ shoes are built-in powerfully radiant lights. They create the feeling of a deep light space inside the shoes.
